Pastel Artist Sandy Wallis

Sandy Wallis is the featured 2-dimensional invited artist at Wailoa Art and Cultural Center’s upcoming wood show. Opening night is Friday October 5th from 5-7pm.

We had the privilege of scanning many of her pastels prior to them being framed.

Merrie Monarch Parade Features Artist Rod Cameron

The Merrie Monarch 2011 Parade this year had a few interesting additions, one of which was artist Rod Cameron on a float with easel and paints, ready to be creative.

iPhone Apps For Photographers Get More Powerful Everyday!

A few weeks ago Dewitt Jones was here at KFAC giving a seminar called “See the Light!”. Dewitt was an award-winning film producer and National Geographic photographer for over 20 years. What intrigues him these days is enjoying the photographic process and just having fun with it! We’re starting this blog to offer artists and photographers a resource for news, events, tutorials and whatever strikes us!

In case you haven’t heard of us, we are a premier fine art studio specializing in digital art reproduction and printing of fine art and photography using the giclee inkjet printing process. We can print your favorite images on canvas, fine art paper and photo paper.

We are located on the Big Island of Hawaii in the town of Keaau, near Hilo. We hold many events including Exhibition Openings, Gallery Shows, Photo and Photoshop Training Workshops and Art and Photography related Seminars.
